A1 Group supply loo hire for the Download 'Pilot' Festival 2021
A1 Loo Hire were proud to supply in excess of 300 plastic toilets to the Download ‘Pilot’ Festival that happened the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June 2021. Usually boasting 100,000 attendees, this was a 10,000-capacity test event which was held at Donington Park, East Midlands.
This music event was part of a government testing programme meaning that the 10,000 strong crowd didn’t need to wear face masks and visitors attending the event had to provide a negative PCR test before arrival. The Festival MD; Melvin Benn of the Festival Republic Group predicted that the data being gathered by the government at the festival would prove that similar events can take place amid the pandemic.
The Download Pilot Festival was quickly arranged featuring around 40 bands across 2 stages, fans were only able to buy weekend tickets rather than individual day passes. Festival Republic Group announced that 'Latitude' would also be going ahead between 22nd and 25th July in Suffolk which will mean another exceptional delivery and supply from A1 Loo Hire. We hope that this paves the way for many more future Covid Secure music events.
