So long, farewell & happy retirement!

Today Phil Hogburn who drives tankers for our Wet Waste division left us after being part of the A1 team for over 25 years! (He doesn’t look old enough does he?) Phil started out as an independent mechanic working on vehicles for A1, before coming on board full time looking after our vehicles. Working on the tankers gave him a new interested and he naturally progressed to a tanker driver working for our Wet Waste division. With over 20 years in the game he's worked on some of our biggest jobs from the build of Heathrow T5 to maintaining the Houses of Parliament and many more - the list is endless! 

We wish him all the best in his retirement, Wet Waste won’t be the same without his face around every day.

We waved him off with a nice socially distanced goodbye with Russell, Michael and the team.
