Winner of the 'Best Transit in Show'

Russell Pike, our Directer was delighted at being awarded Best transit in show at the Classic & Vintage Commercial Show in Gaydon 2019.

The show took place on the 8th & 9th of June 2019 at The British Motor Museum which is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars; it boasts nearly 300 cars in its collection which span the classic, vintage and veteran eras.

The event held over 450 commercial vehicles produced before the year 2000, including trucks, vans and pick ups. The range of commercial vehicles on display stretched from Ford Transit vans, Morris Minors and J Types along with lighter lorries from Austin, Bedford, Dodge, Ford Thames through to heavier lorries by manufacturers such as AEC, Atkinson, ERF, Foden and Leyland. 

It was also great to see the large Indoor Model Show, organised by the National Association of Road Transport Modellers. There were multiple displays showcasing kit and scratch-built models of commercial vehicles and landscapes.

We look forward to attending next year and seeing if we can pick up any more awards.
